Letter from the co-founder
I wanted to reach out with some important information about our upcoming public art workshops.
We have been closely monitoring developments with the Coronavirus (COVID-19) and it has been made abundantly clear by both international organizations such as the WHO and our own Ministry of Health that social distancing is a key strategy that needs to be implemented to reduce the impact of the virus in communities with recorded person-to-person transmission. Since Bangalore has documented person-to-person transmission with new cases being diagnosed each day, we've made the decision to cancel all upcoming events in the city for the foreseeable future. We expect cancellations to run into April, but will be monitoring the situation closely and will be in touch as it evolves.
I want to personally apologize for the impact this has on you. All of us at The Crimson Canvas are here because we want to help local, independent artists connect with new audiences and we know how important our events are to both our artists and to you our loyal customers. However, the safety of our artists, customers, employees and hosts is our highest priority and first responsibility. Further, as a physician myself I prefer to err on the side of caution at such a critical time.
All customers who have purchased tickets to art workshops in Bangalore will be refunded within the next 2 days. In the meantime if anyone has urgent questions you may reach me at
